dang the duel was fine (that fusion monster fusion was pretty boss) but damn this was feeling like a finale with Yuga being sent back (end of Sevens i assume nice touch all Sevens variants doing so) and then Yuamu just vanishing good lord , also revealing Monster Reborn cant revive them im not too surprised as we know its mental manipulation ability
and now Yuudias , Yuhi , Danamu and surprise Epoch lol are on the hunt for her and to revive the Velgeareans S3 should be fun i wonder how much focus we will have on the search or we cut back and forth between that and the lives of Mitsuba , also Yuna maybe this is the beginning of the Goha takeover from Sevens
overall S2 was great had highs and lows but i am excited for S3

it was pretty clear monster reborn was a dead end from the get-go, because if it wasn't kuaidul would have used it already instead of trying to make the velgairians fuse. this entire ordeal was just some half-assed way to explain how yuga got back and how the "cursed" monster reborn came into existence.... not that it needed one as otes already claimed himself to be the one to create it in SEVENs.
seems likely that yuga is going to spend a few years creating a time machine and try to return as an adult only to botch it and land about a decade or so in the past and eventually become otes given that otes stated himself to be the creator of duels before they became "goha duels". but given that he now canonically lied about being the one to create monster reborn, its hard to tell if he was lying about that or not now...

Of course Yudias needed the win because it's a season finale but at least Yuga has returned home back to his original timeline. (Assuming no more Yuga cameos in the future)

Yudias vs Yuga may not happen

I was really praying for this to be the Finale, simply bcs this anime is a torture to watch for some of us who loved the original, when it was made with seriosity and care. Why couldn't they just leave it at that with Yuamu's search happening in the background and just end this right here. I mean, they finally gave Yudias a victory, after so many Ls in the past episodes. The story made less and less sense by the day and now I am totally lost as to why Yuamu tried to kill off Yudias when she was also set to save the Velgearians - just bcs Yuuga feels alone??? BS reason! She did call Yuuga her 'son', which means she is the mother, and the father I believe could be Yuuhi (probably), but no they're brothers. So yeah, I am totally lost.

Next episode is on the 7th of April. I need a break from this.

then go and let others enjoy it i have my own issues with the series but o still am enjoying it just fine and excited to see where it goes

i enjoyed both the original and the new one, every yugioh series, and of course every series had his ups and downs, but that still didn't matter because overall i like them all, you can not tell me this is worst then what a mess Arc-V became after Synchro dimension, come on

I never said I liked Arc-V either. Actually, the quality started dropping for me ever since Zexal and onwards. However, the VRAINS one was ok, nor great but ok. Arc-V was even worse than Zexal! And I disagree with the ups and downs bit - the first 3 generations of YuGiOh had NO DEFECTS WHATSOEVER! All 3 stories were fantastic!

I interchange 5Ds and Zexal everytime i rewatch both. And none are perfect they all have flaws in some way

yeah, they do seem to be hellbent on dragging it out. i think they've run out of ideas on how to make another yugioh series so they're just throwing whatever they can onto this one. studio bridge really hasn't done anywhere near as good of a job with it as studio gallop did, even vrains was less of a mess.

Sevens: How Yuga got Isekai'd
Go Rush: How Yuga lived his life as an isekai protagonist and got an instant harem in Yuna, Asaka and ofcourse the morally grey interest in Yuamu.

This series has had so many series finale type episodes but it just KEEPS ON GOING lol.

I wonder if we'll get glimpses in the future and Yuga's whereabouts. He might invent a time machine now that he has all the knowledge he learned and then go back into Go Rush timeline.

Yuamu disappearing really be like Shark becoming Nasch. I'm getting nervous and excited.

Just NO. I am not sold on this final (and the last 2 episode prior) in general they just feel forced or doesn't make sense.

1: The drama feels forced and unnecessary , if Yuga knew Monster reborn can't bring back the Velgearians all he needed was to SAY IT, they would have absolutely believed him and thus making the entire duel useless. And if he didn't know it comes back to my previous point in the previous episode that he literally endangered Yudias' life and tried to keep an entire race of billions dead just so that children in the future have rush duel from the beginning (which also means HIS FUTURE will cease to exist and no one can know what would happen to Romin, Luke and Gakuto) and that is not only a terrible exchange but also entirely meaningless because i do not buy for a second that stopping the velgerians from reviving is the only way to stop Rush duels from becoming Goha duels, Yuga could have just allowed them to revive velgerians and THEN try to stop the future but NO he did this

2: And the worse of it is that Yuamu HELPED Yuga. I don't care about her sentimental bullshit, she ENDANGERED Yudias' life and put his entire race's revival (she didn't even know Monster reborn wouldn't work) chance into danger just because ''Yuga is all alone'' SCREW YOU. Yuga is alone because he chooses to be alone, he could have talked, asked for help but NO. He always went alone and dipped out every final episode and we are supposed to feel sorry for him for trying to keep an entire race dead to prevent a future that is not even sure to come to pass ? Yuamu was wasted this season and i had wished she would get some development and spotlight but THIS WAS NOT IT. It only ruined her character more for me because she is now extremely stupid on top of being useless. ALSO people theorize about the thing in the season 3 poster being Yuamu but how likely it is that such a thing would be out of her OWN free will ? She got seemingly captured so it is highly likely that even if she is a villain in the next arc she might have just been brainwashed YET AGAIN which would be disgusting and even if she is gonna be a villain by her own will how will they actually justify that ? I was not content with Yuamu's character this season and the route they took now is just worse in my opinion

3: Also i am not sure if Yuga has truly returned to the future but if he did i DO NOT LIKE IT. Not only it felt so anticlimactic but also he barely did shit this season so if this was all we got from him and this was his final in this show it is just a massive waste, they should have done SO MUCH MORE with the freakin PROTAGONIST of the previous show. Like we didn't even get a Yuga vs Yudias COME ON. Also the plot with Yuna's feelings for him did not even a proper conclusion, i was hoping that she could get a duel against him (or better yet SHE could have be the one to support Yuga here instead of Yuamu since it actually makes sense for her character) but no, she was not even there when they sent Yuga off so she got NO CLOSURE whatsoever and YES i know they showed her at the end so she will get some things regarding this but with this show and her previous episode being not giving enough shit about velgearians just to confess to Yuga, i just fear that they will make her lose her mind and/or go down a bad path similarly to Manabu who became a pitiful joke character of sorts and ruin her character entirely. I wish Yuna could have gotten a closure directly with Yuga if this is the end for Yuga in this show cause i don't have faith for the show to give her a good closure in that regard without Yuga being there and i seriously fear they will ruin her completely

ALSO if Yuga is truly gone they BETTER NOT show that clown Otes in this show. The only way i could have accept that disgrace of a villain show up in Go rush would have be Yuga since they have a rivalry and Yuga could be Otes BUT now with the actual Yuga gone even if Otes is Yuga i do not want that clown anywhere near this show let alone as a main antagonist of an arc let alone of the show. If Yuga is gone we do not need Otes to show up and ruin this show even further

AND FOR LAST i hope the next arc will only last one arc because the decision to discard a high majority of the cast while just taking freakin EPOCH and Damamu is terrible. If they brought some better characters like Yuna, Rovian, even freakin Phaser or Lugh or Asaka and alike i would have wanted it to last for a while but Epoch is just meh, more than an arc with them as the main cast would be a terrible waste of time that could be spent to give duels and further development to better characters

I always find you complaining about something under the episodes, you never say anything positive, if you hate this anime that much then why are you still watching it?

I have watched every single Yugioh and have been watching Yugioh weekly ever since the days of Arc v. I am not gonna stop that,i will watch what they have to offer and criticize when it is necessary which is sadly more often than not for Rush yugioh but i had problems and complaints with Gallop Yugiohs as well and have moments, duels or plots that i like in Rush yugioh. For an example just recently i really liked the Zwijo duel episode, Myuda and Dinois episode and alike. I liked Kuaidul as a villain as well

Sure, there may be some flaws, but you seem to complain about EVERYTHING that happens, i only saw a few comments that didn't say anything negative.
And even if you want to criticize, why here of all place? What do you expect it to happen by complaining on a random streaming site about what you don't like in an anime?
Try to take your complaints to twitter, or a forum about the anime, do it on a youtube channel, or somewhere else where people WANT to discuss it.

I have so many different feelings then you man, yea the story could have gone in infinite possibilities, for better or for worse, and also lots of times i also said why it could have not happen that or that it would have been better, but in the end i learned to accept whatever it comes. If is good i enjoyed to maximum if is bad then i just move on and not starting to complain so much as you do, WHICH IS SO ANNOYING. Even is something is bad i try to focus more on the good parts to enjoy the most of this entire journey.
PS: the moment i saw Epoch on the ship i was "HELL YEAH, LET'S GO" because i like Epoch, she grow a lot since since her debut (minus her cheating when she rolls the dice), for me it fells she is like a +B tier character, which is still pretty good, cuz we can see more of her developing.

If you are annoyed by me that is something you must solve such as by simply ignoring me or by blocking me if you hate it that bad. Your annoyance over my opinions is not my problem nor do i need to not share my thoughts and criticisms because you don't like it. Well, it was a sad ending:

Yudias lost his race and couldn't revive them.
Yuga lost his chanse to alter history.
Yuna lost her crush.
Yuhi lost her sister.
Yuamu lost her last duel.

They left enough goals for the protagonists to have a fresh 3rd season.

Actually, since I liked Yuna's ship with Yuuga, I hope, as another commenter said, Yuga travels back in time to be with her and so as not to cause accidents to the timeline, her name would be changed to Otes.

I really don't like who the things end's, I expect a better way to Yuuga go to his time and I don't like who they make the guys go to the next adventure, sevens make a better end I don't who they make that.

I suppose that the feeling of dissatisfaction or that it was an ending with many sentimental holes will be the excuse for the 3rd season.

It still needs to be explained if Otes is Yuga, if he returned to the past to stay. In theory, according to what they said in Seven, Otes in the past was an employee of the Goha group, he may be Yuga but he changed his name so as not to create an identity paradox with his future self.

I assume the Yuga probably goes to the future but the future of his future(when the otes drone are in the duel he say he don't rember his form, probably that's not the end of the journe of Yuga)

are you for real? this is another universe with other rules, nothing that happen in the original series happened here. This is another timeline or parallel universe

Well, It seems that in this universe, neither Pegasus nor Yugi are there, and they have just created Monster Reborn, and apparently the reason for the name is because they were going to control people's minds, so that the collective suggestion and power of the artifact would Reborn the Velgarians. Unfortunately, according to Kuaidol's calculations, there was not enough energy to revive the Velgarians, so they created a dangerous card that can no longer fulfill its original goal and only brainwashes minds. That's why they sealed it.

In reality, the brainwashing effect is a Random joke from season 7, one of those that didn't make sense, because was a comedy Season. But now this Prequel season is trying to make everything of the last has a explanation because the theme now is Scifi and time and space travels.
